Today's featured vehicle is a bit different—it's a performance beast crafted by Germany's GAD Motors team. Here's how it came to be: During a casual private trip, an engineer rented a Mercedes-Benz V250. While the overall experience was positive, vehicles sold in the German market were equipped with a 190-horsepower diesel engine, resulting in underwhelming power delivery. After discussion, they reached a consensus: Why not make this van faster?

And so, a major project commenced! Engineers installed the M177 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine into this MPV. This engine was widely used in the mid-to-late 2010s C 63, E63, GT63, G63, Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, as well as the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and DB11. The powertrain is paired with Mercedes-Benz's 9-speed G-Tronic TCT automatic transmission.

After extensive testing, the engineers finally achieved perfect engine-to-vehicle integration while ensuring full legal compliance for road use. The final performance figures deliver a maximum power output of 900 horsepower and peak torque exceeding 1,000 Newton-meters.

According to the engineer, this vehicle now effortlessly overtakes at 120 km/h on the highway. Naturally, such power allows this V8-powered van to weave freely on unrestricted highways.
Exterior modifications are minimal—merely alloy wheels and the former Mercedes-Benz emblem replaced with a GAD badge, along with a slightly lowered stance. The interior remains completely stock.

Not long ago, GAD Motors also brought this van to Zweibrücken Airport in Germany for a drag race, going head-to-head with some speed machines, including the BMW M5, McLaren 720S, Mercedes-AMG GT, and C6 Chevrolet Corvette.
If one day you're cruising on a German autobahn and spot a Mercedes MPV flashing its lights while zooming past you at breakneck speed, don't provoke it! Reportedly, only 10 units of this vehicle will be produced, though the exact price remains undisclosed.
